Highlight: Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero Glow kit

Hi!

I don’t own too many highlighting palettes because lets be real, highlighters are glorified shimmer shadows in a bigger pan. I mean if you think otherwise…let me know in the comments below!

Usually when I want to highlight my face, I just use a nice shimmer shadow that’s super creamy and easy to apply. Saves time AND money, but the ABH x Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit caught my eye for two reasons: first, it’s multifunctional (these make great eyeshadows, seriously) and second, the colors ‘Forever Lit’ and ‘Daydream’ are legit nothing I have ever, EVER seen before, so it was well worth the purchase.

The palette comes in a really pretty glittery peachy, cardboard packing, that houses six, metallic highlighters. These highlighters can be used either wet or dry. There isn’t too much glitter or fallout. They provide the right amount of luminosity that really catches some light when you turn your head. According the back of the packaging, these highlighters can be used on the eyes, face, body, or brow bone highlight. Another great thing about these highlighters (and most highlighters in general) is that they can be layered for a fun custom look that would sure to turn heads.

Other items to not about the palette is that it is Vegan and cruelty-free!

Swatches

IMG_4996
Left to Right: Kitty Kat, Forever Young, Daydream, Forever Lit, Glo Getter, and 143

Kitty Kat: a pink, metallic highlighter (looks kind of pale and really light on my skin tone)

Forever Young: Lilac like purple highlighter (looks a bit grey and pale almost silver, like Kitty Kat on my skin)

Daydream: Peachy, coppery highlighter (looks amazing on my skin!!!)

Forever Lit: Whiteish, bluish, purplish highlighter (goes on the skin a bit blue but with a pretty purple effect)

Glo Getter: Tanish color, almost bronze highlighter ( doesn’t look too bad)

143: Bronze highlighter (also doesn’t look to bad, almost a gold tint to it)

All in all I give this palette a solid 4/5 only because I feel that Kitty Kat and Forever Young wouldn’t go well with ALL skin tones, but it will work for other places on the body besides the face.

The palette was a limited edition item that is now sold out unless you check your local Sephora, they will may have some in stock. The palette retails at $40.00 USD

Let me know if this palette is included in your makeup collection in the comments below!

Until next time,
