Hey everyone!! I am going to start doing a weekly post on Tuesday’s called, you guessed it, Lipstick Tuesday. Every Tuesday I am going to use this to give a more in depth look at my lipstick collection.
This week, I want to present Bite’s new lipstick Amuse Bouche. This lipstick is soooooooooooo buttery soft, smells great, completely hydrating and provides an excellent color payoff.
The lipstick comes in 34 bold colors, ranging from pinks, nudes, browns, plums, and reds.

“Swipe on bold, creamy lip color with Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche. Created and crafted by hand, Bite’s small batch, low-heat process preserves a balanced blend of lip-quenching nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils that are essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. Made with 12 edible oils and triple milled pigments, this lipstick provides saturated lip color with weightless coverage and a citrus flavor made from fresh pressed fruit.”
The 12 oils include: argan oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, almond oil, grape seed oil, olive oil, coconut oil, apricot oil, pomegranate seed oil, castor seed oil, sesame seed oil, and sunflower seed oil. The lipstick is certified gluten-free and contains no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. Ingredients are natural and organic.
If you never heard of Bite Beauty, they are a lipstick company based in Toronto, Canada, creating lipsticks with food-grade ingredients that are literally good enough to eat. All of their lipsticks contain Resveratrol, an antioxidant found in wine.
Check out Bite Beauty’s story here to meet the founder, Susanne Langmuir, and get more information on their lipsticks, including their Lip Lab (located in New York City) where you, yes you, can create your own custom lipstick.
Currently, Bite Beauty is only available at Sephora US & Canada (in store and online here). Retails at $26.00 (USD) | $30.00 (CAD)
As an employee of Sephora, Bite Beauty has graciously gifted the cast members with full size tube of the lipstick (not sure how my color was chosen, sometimes the brands just send a few colors and the management selects the best one for you.)
The shade chose for me was Molasses (rich toffee). I love this color. This is the perfect WOC (woman of color) friendly nude lipstick. It’s not to much on the beige side and it’s not to much on the brown side either. A perfect balance of both.
I honestly love the lipstick, with or without, a lip liner. It is a total win for me. I will update this post with additional shades, once I have purchased them.
Until next time!!
